The idea for CASTANEA Crafts in Spain grew out of owner Brenda Killigrew’s passion for Spain. Brenda, who already runs Inkberrow Design Centre, an education centre near Redditch, Worcestershire, renowned for its excellence in millinery, fashion, theatre costume, textiles and interior design, produces cutting-edge work with City & Guilds, Diploma and HND students.

With CASTANEA, Brenda wanted to introduce a more informal and relaxed way of learning. Crafts in Spain does just this.  Situated in the Murcia region, it is the ideal getaway to immerse yourself in your favourite craft, surrounded by sunny skies and like-minded people.

For those who get bored on a typical beach-style holiday, or find that they have no one to go away with, special interest breaks such as this bridge the gap, enabling you to enjoy the weather, see a little of the area and forge new and often long-lasting friendships.
