Our two studios are set in luscious gardens, in the village of Venta De Los Pinos, Canadas de San Pedro, just 18 kilometres from the ancient city Murcia. The city sits to the southeast of the Iberian peninsular in the valley of the Segura River, sheltered by the foothills of the Carrascoy, Cresto del Gallo and Pila mountain ranges. Murcia has Moorish ancestry, with a magnificent Cathedral, beautiful squares and narrow twisting lanes, perfect for sitting and watching the world go by in year-round sunshine.

Our accommodation is located 30 minutes away at the four-star Hotel Traina, San Pedro del Pinatar, on the beautiful Mar Menor coast, within easy access of Alicante airport.

Along with beautiful beaches, the Mar Menor is renowned for its wonderful saltwater lagoons and the therapeutic properties of its mud and clays, making it a popular spa resort. There are many hotels and speciality centres that offer treatments in the town. 

The regional park of San Pedro salt marshes is situated to the north side of the Mar Menor. With many protected fauna species, it is a haven for bird life, and a brilliant chance to see flamingos in their natural habitat.

The Mar Menor is also an ideal safe place to practise all water sports in calm and shallow waters; it is an excellent place to learn sailing, canoeing, kayaking and diving, while the Mediterranean Sea offers deeper waters for the more experienced.
